ON MY RADAR | May 2016

I didn't do too well with my April list, so let's hope that May turns out a little bit better. I'm really excited about this month's options. And, yes, this graphic is simple as hell.

New Releases
- The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson Who isn't excited for a new Morgan Matson book?! I completely love all of her other books and I cannot wait for this one. I don't even really know what the premise is, but I do know that the main character walks dogs and that the love interest is probably Morgan's favorite. And I get a t-shirt for preordering. Sold.
- Don't You Cry by Mary Kubica I really enjoy Kubica's writing and I think her second book showed a strong step forward in her ability. I love a good thriller and I hope that this one will keep me entertained - I'm sure it will.
- In the Country We Love: My Family Divided by Diane Guerrero I am using this for the political memoir prompt and, yeah, that may be kind of a stretch. I honestly don't want to read a true political memoir by, like, a politician. I just don't. This book deals with deportation and that is definitely an issue that is relevant politically all of the time. I adore Diane Guerrero and am looking forward to hearing her story in a different medium.
- Carmilla by J. Sheridan Le Fanu While I stopped watching the YouTube series based on this story, I do think it will be a fun enough read. I'm using this for the prompt that asks for a book at least 100 years older than me.

- Re Jane by Patricia Park I have never heard of this book but I my library's new arrivals section had it and it looks super interesting. I'm always one for reading more diversly.
- Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton
- Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson
- If You Dare by A.R. Torre I read books one and two of this series back-to-back and I almost went straight into book three, as well, but decided to take a little break.
What are you reading this month? Let me know!
